Brushed by Brandy – Special guest at PBA. Brandy Kollenborn is the artist and owner behind Brushed by brandy. Situated in Sacramento California with her husband Sean and their 3 boys. Brandy started her painting journey in her garage as so many of us do! and has built a successful business doing what she loves.

Brandy’s style is instantly recognisable. Known for her wonderful colour blends Brandy makes it look so simple on camera! With a huge loyal following who has fallen in love with her open, honest personality. Sean her husband is very supportive and can often be found helping her film, fix and deliverer her pieces. Their on-screen banter is fun to watch.

Brandy’s furniture artistic career has been meteoric, with many wanting to emulate her signature style. Her infectious personality grabbing you from the screen was a factor in her success. Brandy is talented at being able to freely share her knowledge. She has a humble manner that puts you at ease and makes you feel like you are her friend. Brandy has a successful YouTube channel blog and Facebook page where you can often catch her live.

I ( Sarah ) was lucky enough to grab Brandy for my interview series Paint Talks with the Pros along with other fabulous painters including Jay Blades, Quitta Allen, Dionne Woods, Jennylyn Pringle And Marion Parsons AKA Miss Mustard Seed. It was were we ‘met’ and I can’t wait to meet her for real!
